Nick Chubb Is Showing Off A Brand New Skill

It has only been a few days since Cleveland Browns legend Nick Chubb decided to officially retire at 30 years old, but Browns fans everywhere miss him already. It was heartwarming to see the response he got from the fans and his peers as everyone shared anecdotes about how much they enjoyed watching him play and how great of a guy he is off the field.

He has always been one of the quietest and most humble superstars of his generation, but hopefully he hangs around the sport in some capacity since he meant so much to so many people. He’ll have plenty of free time and an open door to pop into Browns practice whenever he likes, but if he keeps improving at his new hobby, Browns fans may be able to watch him as a pro in a different sport.

The PGA Tour’s account shared a clip of Chubb participating at “The Showdown” challenge at East Lake Golf Club. Unsurprisingly, with just four months of golf under his belt, Chubb looks ready for the tour.

Golf isn’t supposed to look this easy, but with an athlete like this, you’d expect no less. That smile that beamed across his face after his incredible shot was bigger than any smile he ever had during his football days, so it’s great to see him enjoying his new retirement hobby.

Perhaps this is the reason why he retired when he clearly had a little tread left on his tires as a running back. Football clearly started to get in the way of golf.

All joking aside, it’s great that Chubb decided to bow out too early rather than too late. He had a stellar career and had some gruesome injuries, so congrats to him for getting out before the injuries went too far and impacted his golf game.
