The Cleveland Browns started preparing for their Week 6 game against the Baltimore Ravens with 17 players on the injury report. Fortunately, that daunting number has eased as the week has moved along.
With Baltimore also dealing with significant injuries, that could be a key component of the important AFC North matchup. So, Cleveland should be encouraged by a bit of good news.
According to Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN, the Browns got four key players back at practice on Friday: Carson Schwesinger, Mason Graham, Quinshon Judkins, and Derek Barnett.
“The Browns got some big names back at practice today: Carson Schwesinger, Mason Graham, Quinshon Judkins and Derek Barnett. Not practicing: Mike Hall, Teven Jenkins, Kalia Davis,” Oyefusi posted.

The participation of Graham and Judkins is notable. Graham, a defensive tackle, was projected to miss multiple games with a leg injury he suffered in Week 4 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Running back Judkins sustained an injury to his surgically repaired ankle in Week 5 against the New York Jets. Now, both may be able to play on Sunday.
Schwesinger missed almost all of training camp, and the linebacker was dealing with an ankle injury that he sustained in the game against the Jets. Barnett, a defensive end, also had an ankle injury coming out of that contest at MetLife Stadium. None of the four practiced previously this week.
Defensive tackle Hall remains sidelined with an ankle injury. Guard Teven Jenkins has missed multiple games with a back injury, and defensive tackle Davis is trying to return from a quad injury.
Rookie wide receivers KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston have been limited participants during the week. Concepcion is working his way through concussion protocol after a questionable hit against the Jets, and Boston has a foot injury.
As for Cleveland’s opponent, Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson has been ruled out with an ankle injury that sidelined him for its Week 5 game against the Atlanta Falcons. In addition, the status of Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers remains unknown after he was added to the injury report this week with a toe injury.
With first place in the division on the line, the Browns can use all the help they can get when they take on their rivals at Huntington Bank Field.
