Locker room celebrations after a big win reveal a lot about a team’s chemistry. The energy, the speeches and the players being recognized all paint a picture of how a group feels about itself. Some victories are celebrated quietly, while others feel like turning points. Sunday’s win over the Baltimore Ravens clearly fell into the second category.

The scene reflected what the win meant. The Browns improved to 4-2 and moved into 1st place in the AFC North with a 13-10 victory, rallying from a 10-0 deficit on Andre Szmyt’s 37-yard field goal as time expired.
Todd Monken handed out 5 game balls afterward, recognizing Carson Schwesinger, Coach Rudy, Jerry Jeudy, Deshaun Watson and Szmyt.
Schwesinger’s selection was an easy one. Listed as questionable with an ankle injury, he played through it and finished with 13 tackles and a forced fumble.
The game ball for Mike Rutenberg recognized a defense that shut out the Ravens over the final 3 quarters despite playing without Mason Graham, Mike Hall Jr. and, for most of the afternoon, Grant Delpit.
Jeudy earned his after catching all 4 of his targets for 69 yards, with Monken adding that the offense is better when he gets the ball.
Watson bounced back from a rough 1st half to complete 13 of 17 passes for 140 yards after halftime and led his NFL-leading 4th game-winning drive.
Szmyt capped it with his 2nd game-winning kick in the final seconds at home this season, after a 48-yarder in the 3rd quarter got the Browns on the board.
It shows how much this group has grown since the opener. A team that was blown out in Jacksonville has now won 4 of its last 5 games, with each victory requiring contributions from different corners of the roster.
The Browns have now won 3 straight at home and own the head-to-head tiebreaker over Baltimore. Moments like this build belief inside a locker room, and if the energy from Sunday carries forward, Cleveland could be in position to stay atop the division for a long time.
