The Cleveland Browns have a huge opportunity to capitalize off their huge Week 6 win over the Baltimore Ravens and keep the momentum rolling against the floundering Tennessee Titans this week, who are coming off their first win after a furious second-half comeback against the Indianapolis Colts. In other positive news, the Browns are trending toward potentially having a healthy backfield for the first time all year as well.
Cleveland’s offense has taken big steps forward in 2026, but one area where the offense hasn’t performed adequately has been in the running game. Underperformance and injury have led to the league’s ninth-worst rushing attack at just 94 yards per game, a number which has been enhanced due to Deshaun Watson’s rediscovered mobility.
However, things could change on Sunday. Cleveland.com’s Mary Kay Cabot shared that the team’s top two running backs — Quinshon Judkins and Dylan Sampson — could both return from injury on Sunday.
“Browns Todd Monken is optimistic that both Quinshon Judkins and Dylan Sampson will face the Titans on Sunday,” Cabot posted.

Sampson has been on IR all season and Judkins missed last week with a minor ankle injury. Monken had to turn to Jaleen McLaughlin and Audric Estime with both of them out, and they did a solid job with their limited touches, combining for 60 yards and a touchdown.
Sampson had a strong camp and could add an interesting element to this offense as a receiver out of the backfield. He didn’t run the ball very well last season but could be in line for more touches between the tackles anyway, especially if Judkins is unable to take a step forward.
Judkins is now over a year removed from his last 100-yard rushing game. With the way the offensive line has improved and Watson’s control of the passing game, it’s time to get this running game going. Tennessee has done a solid job against the run thus far despite its 1-5 record, so it won’t be easy, but it all starts with getting Judkins and Sampson back healthy.
