Most teams are lucky to develop 1 young offensive building block at a time. Draft classes are inconsistent, and even talented prospects often need years before they become reliable starters. Finding several who contribute at once can change a franchise’s direction. One former NFL quarterback believes the Browns have found 4 of them.
Dan Orlovsky shared his thoughts on the Browns’ young core on The Pat McAfee Show.
“They got the best young quadruplets in the AFC. The two rookie receivers, Boston and Concepcion, are awesome, and they’re different. Boston’s that big frame, your true one-on-one outside receiver. Concepcion is so special when it comes to working the middle of the field. Fannin’s a freak, man. Fannin’s just sheer athleticism, and then Judkins. The young quadruplets that they have are awesome. Very impressed by them. I’m so impressed with them being 5-2,” Orlovsky said.
"Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion have been awesome for the Browns..
Harold Fannin is a freak and this offensive line is a good unit..
I'm very impressed by this Cleveland Browns team" ~ @danorlovsky7 #PMSLive pic.twitter.com/ubv4tqVgt0

Orlovsky’s breakdown of the receivers is spot on. Denzel Boston is a 6-foot-4 outside threat who can win on his own, and his 372 receiving yards rank 2nd among all rookies. KC Concepcion works underneath and after the catch, and his 8-catch, 129-yard performance against the Tennessee Titans jumped him to 3rd on that list.
Harold Fannin Jr. is the player Orlovsky keeps coming back to. A day earlier, he called the 2nd-year tight end a star after Fannin turned a short catch into a long gain that set up the game-winning field goal in Tennessee. Fannin finished that game with 6 catches for 91 yards.
Quinshon Judkins rounds out the group. After a difficult start and plenty of criticism, he ran for 96 yards and 2 touchdowns on Sunday, his best game of the season.
All 4 came from Andrew Berry’s last 2 draft classes. Fannin and Judkins were 2025 picks, while Boston and Concepcion arrived this spring.
Orlovsky also praised the offensive line, which allowed just 1 sack against Tennessee after giving up 13 over the previous 2 games. With rookies Spencer Fano and Austin Barber developing alongside veterans like Zion Johnson, that group is starting to come together as well.
The bigger picture is what makes this so promising. Deshaun Watson is in the final year of his contract, and a young core like this makes Cleveland an appealing place for a young quarterback. Whoever starts in 2027 will inherit 4 playmakers who are just getting started.
