Heading into a Week 3 matchup with the Carolina Panthers, the Cleveland Browns will have an opportunity to go above .500 and continue changing the narrative around the team. Few expected them to upset the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 2, but Deshaun Watson had a stellar performance with his back against the wall and will have a chance to build upon that showing against a defense that gave up 59 points in Week 1.
The last thing you want to see is a long and daunting injury list, which the Browns have mostly been able to avoid thus far. There are a few big names on Wednesday’s injury report, but for the most part, the whole team is trending toward being healthy and ready to string together a winning streak on Sunday.
Cleveland.com’s Mary Kay Cabot shared that right guard Teven Jenkins was the only player of the six listed on the injury report to miss practice on Wednesday. Tyson Campbell, Grant Delpit, Mason Graham, Tytus Howard, and Quincy Williams were all limited in practice and don’t appear to be in danger of missing the Panthers game.

Carolina’s injury report is much more concerning as they have five players who missed practice on Wednesday. They’ll be gunning for a 2-1 start as well and Bryce Young has been tearing it up with three touchdowns in each of his first two games, so anyone missing this game for them will be a big help for the Browns.
Jenkins’ injury is unfortunate as he has now lost his job in the process, but rookie Austin Barber has blossomed at right guard already and fully mitigated the loss of Cleveland’s current injured starter. Anyone else on this list missing Sunday’s game would be devastating, so hopefully they can all log a full practice on Thursday or Friday.
Check back tomorrow for updates here. All signs are pointing towards the Browns being just about fully healthy for Sunday.
