The Cleveland Browns are on top of the world after taking down the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday Night Football to move to an improbable 3-1 on the young season. The players and the fans now get to enjoy the rest of the week off before heading east to take on the New York Jets in Week 5.
There was a lot to love about what the team put on tape against Pittsburgh, with the offense putting up 27 points and the defense getting after Aaron Rodgers early and often, racking up five sacks and two interceptions in the process. It was the type of performance that potentially solidifies the Browns as a threat in the AFC and all of the incredible work GM Andrew Berry has done over the past couple of drafts was on full display.
During a recent episode of the Move The Sticks Podcast, Daniel Jeremiah raved about rookie defensive back Emmanuel McNeil-Warren. The second-round rookie out of Toledo had his best game on Thursday with four tackles and a pair of pass breakups, and Jeremiah believes the Browns found themselves a legitimate stud.
“He’s my 15th player; he was the 58th pick. That is insane to me that he lasted that long. They got a stud there,” said Jeremiah.
"They got a stud there."

Berry’s job was on the line just a couple of years ago, but this turnaround has people singing his praises. The amount of talent he has added to this roster over the last two drafts is nothing short of incredible.
Even after just four games, it’s clear that Spencer Fano, KC Concepcion, Denzel Boston, Austin Barber, and McNeil-Warren are all outstanding young talents who could be pillars for this franchise for many years to come. None were surprising picks in the draft either. Berry went chalk and took the best player available at all the obvious positions of need on this roster, and it couldn’t be working out better.
It’s not surprising that McNeil-Warren is making an immediate impact. Many analysts loved the pick when it happened and it’s easy to see why. He is in a position in Mike Rutenberg’s defense where he can continue to make impact plays, and his first turnover is likely just around the corner.
