The Cleveland Browns’ injury report heading into their Week 5 matchup at the New York Jets has some big names on it. Thankfully there aren’t a lot of significant injuries threatening to push some of these players to IR, but the Browns do have some questions to answer before taking the field on Sunday.
The tough part is that a disproportionate amount of Cleveland’s injuries are in the front seven, particularly at defensive tackle. Mason Graham could be out a few weeks after going down in Week 4 and Mike Hall is in a similar boat.
Team analyst Fred Greetham shared a clip from practice on Thursday and shared his insight into the current defensive tackle rotation. He said that with Graham, Hall, and Kalia Davis all out of practice on Thursday, early indications are that Maliek Collins and Adin Huntington will be the starters and have to carry a heavy load on Sunday if all three injured DTs are unable to suit up.
“#Browns down 3 defensive tackles at practice Thursday (Mason Graham, Mike Hall, Kalia Davis), leaving Maliek Collins and Adin Huntington in line to start on Sunday, if others are still out,” said Greetham.

Graham is in the midst of a breakout year with 4.5 sacks already, but early reports indicate he might not be out for more than a week or two. He has been a monster in the middle of this defense and is looking every bit like the guy this front office hoped for when he was drafted fifth overall in 2025 and his return can’t come soon enough. This defense can survive without him for a week or two, but everything changes if he winds up on IR.
Hall’s injury was disappointing because he has spent far too much time on the shelf during his young career. He was first in line to step into a bigger role with Graham out of action, but he got hurt right afterwards and can’t seem to string together an extended bill of clean health.
Huntington has shown flashes, but this will be a big opportunity for him to solidify his role on this team if he winds up starting on Sunday. Luckily for the Browns, Jets running back Breece Hall is also on the injury report and might not play Sunday, so it won’t be the toughest rushing attack they’ll see all season.
