The calls for the Cleveland Browns to fire general manager Andrew Berry were getting quite loud ahead of the 2025 draft. The team’s unenviable situation wasn’t entirely his fault since he didn’t have a ton of draft capital to work with following the Deshaun Watson trade, but over the past two years, he has silenced all of those disgruntled fans wishing for his downfall after a couple of stellar draft classes that have changed the trajectory of this organization.
The 2025 class brought in a number of pillars on both sides of the ball, including Mason Graham, Carson Schwesinger, Quinshon Judkins, Harold Fannin Jr., and a pair of young quarterbacks in Shedeur Sanders and Dillon Gabriel. Early indications suggest he may have outdone himself once again in 2026 as the advanced stats have been loving this Browns rookie class thus far.
PFF recently shared a list featuring their top-ten highest graded rookies through Week 4. Of all players who have played a minimum of 80 snaps, both Denzel Boston (77) and Emmanuel McNeil-Warren (76.2) made the list behind Kansas City Chiefs’ cornerback Mansoor Delane ranking No. 1 with an 84.5 rating.

There were reports all throughout camp about how much Boston and McNeil-Warren were standing out, and all those reports now appear to have been valid. Boston has brought an explosive element to this offense that it hasn’t had in years. He is a huge reason why quarterback Deshaun Watson has been playing his best football in a Browns uniform as the two have shown impeccable chemistry out of the gate.
McNeil-Warren’s slide to the end of the second round surprised a lot of pre-draft analysts who saw him as a mid-first round talent. He has gotten better each week and has been thriving as a versatile weapon in Mike Rutenberg’s new defense, so it’s no surprise to see him on this list either.
All this recent draft success has fans excited about the fact that Berry will have two more first-round picks to work with in what projects to be a loaded 2027 class. The Browns’ pick may not be quite as high as many believed it would be considering the fact that this team won’t stop winning games, but Berry has earned the benefit of the doubt and will certainly find a couple more exciting talents to add to this equation.
