It would be difficult for any one rookie to stand out from the Cleveland Browns’ latest talented class, let alone two. But wide receivers KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston have shown that they are no ordinary rookies.
The duo has become the focal point of the Browns’ offense, dominating targets along with second-year tight end Harold Fannin Jr. Taken just 15 picks apart in the first and second rounds of the 2026 NFL Draft, Concepcion and Boston have made an impact that is very unique around the league.
The two Browns rookies are drawing praise from former NFL general manager Tom Telesco, who likes the way their different skill sets complement each other.
“I can’t think of a time where two rookie receivers have come in and they’re essentially the No. 1 and 2 receivers on that team. Denzel Boston is just a really polished receiver. To me, he’s playing wise beyond his years. Concepcion gives them the juice and the speed as a playmaker. To have two young guys come in and play this big a role in an offense, you just don’t see very often,” Telesco said.
The Browns have a VERY bright future at WR with Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion.

Concepcion was the fourth wide receiver off the board in this year’s draft, selected with the No. 24 overall pick. Telesco mentioned his ability to separate at the top of his routes and the burst he has shown after the catch.
Boston lasted until No. 39 overall as the seventh wideout selected. He has exceeded that draft status as one of the best receivers in the league so far, with Telesco crediting his size, feel for the game, underrated speed, and ability to win on 50-50 balls for his success.
Concepcion and Boston rank second and third in the league in their team’s target share among rookie pass catchers, behind only Carnell Tate of the Tennessee Titans, who was the No. 4 overall pick. Concepcion has turned his Browns-leading 28 targets into 17 receptions for 144 yards, while Boston’s 22 targets have resulted in 13 catches and a team-high 284 yards, which is a 21.8 average that ranks second in the NFL overall.
With Fannin adding 17 catches on his 23 targets for 153 yards, the Browns have three solid options for quarterback Deshaun Watson. That is why Cleveland may be considering trading veteran Jerry Jeudy, which would increase the rookies’ production even more.
Just four games into their NFL careers, it looks like Concepcion and Boston will be fixtures on the Browns’ offense for years to come.
