The Cleveland Browns and Los Angeles Rams are certainly familiar with each other when it comes to making trades. The teams combined for one of the biggest deals in recent NFL history when the Browns sent Myles Garrett to the Rams for a huge return this June.
Now, with the NFL trade deadline less than two weeks away, another idea is on the table. The Rams could be in the market for a veteran wide receiver, and the Browns might have one to spare.
So, Bleacher Report analyst Kristopher Knox said he believes the Browns and Rams could make another big trade, with Cleveland sending Jerry Jeudy to Los Angeles as his ideal landing spot.
“While Jeudy won’t be available for cheap, a strong offer might get a deal done. Trading Jeudy would save $3.9 million in 2026 cap space and $7 million in 2027. The Los Angeles Rams, who already swung one trade with Cleveland this year to land Myles Garrett, would be such a team. While Jeudy’s drop issues are concerning, his precision route-running and breakaway ability would mesh perfectly with Sean McVay’s spacing-based offense,” Knox wrote.
The Rams will be without Davante Adams for multiple weeks after he suffered a serious hamstring injury, and their offense relies on having a strong No. 2 wide receiver behind Puka Nacua. Despite a slow start to the season that increased trade rumors, Jeudy has shown he still has something to offer.
The Browns may be reluctant to part with him now that they have established themselves as true playoff contenders. While Jeudy has fallen behind rookies Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion in Cleveland’s passing game, he has had an impact with important catches during game-winning drives against the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens.
If the Browns’ asking price is high, as Knox states, it is unclear if the Rams can or would be willing to pay it. They already gave Cleveland a first-round pick in the 2027 NFL Draft, a second-round pick in 2028, and a third-round pick in 2029, plus defensive end Jared Verse, for Garrett. Los Angeles also traded away its third-round pick in 2027 in a deal for cornerback Trent McDuffie.
The Browns reportedly are not shopping Jeudy, who is fifth on the team with 16 catches and fourth with 171 receiving yards. But if they do, they might be able to find a better deal than what the Rams can offer.
With the deadline coming up on Nov. 10, the situation will be worth monitoring up until then.
