The Cleveland Browns are getting healthier as a team, as their injury report has thinned out over the past three weeks. They entered preparations for this week’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers with 10 players listed, and have received encouraging updates since then.
The Browns will need to be at full strength if they hope to sweep the Steelers in a season series for the first time since 1988. Cleveland is also trying to win a regular-season game at Pittsburgh for the first time since 2003.
According to Camryn Justice of News 5 Cleveland, three Browns players are questionable for the Steelers game: cornerback Myles Harden, offensive tackle Tytus Howard, and defensive back Daniel Thomas.
#Browns injury designations for Sunday's game against the Steelers:
QUESTIONABLE:
CB Myles Harden (hamstring)
T Tytus Howard (concussion)
DB Daniel Thomas (ankle)— Camryn Justice (@camijustice) October 30, 2026
Harden is often targeted as the perceived weak link in the Browns’ secondary as their nickel corner. He injured his hamstring in the third quarter against the Tennessee Titans this past Sunday, but he was able to play through it in the 27-24 win. He has been a limited participant in practice, which bodes well for his availability against the Steelers.
Howard suffered a concussion in the third quarter against the Titans, after sustaining a knee injury and leaving their Week 5 game against the New York Jets. He returned to practice on Friday, but it is unknown if he has cleared the NFL concussion protocol.
Thomas is a special teamer who played 16 snaps against the Titans. He has been a limited participant in practice this week.
This report is encouraging news regarding defensive end Jared Verse, who was dealing with some swelling early in the week but looks to be ready to back up his strong words about the Steelers. Verse has said the Browns will “dominate” on Sunday, when he will still be looking for his first sack of the season.
Among other key players, safety Grant Delpit, defensive tackle Mason Graham, center Elgton Jenkins and linebacker Carson Schwesinger will not have an injury designation heading into the first-place showdown.
