Former Browns Star’s Home Is Up For Sale

With Cleveland Browns training camp underway, it has been tough to see clips of the defense putting in work without big No. 95 out there for the first time in nearly a decade. GM Andrew Berry had to make the incredibly tough decision to trade Myles Garrett earlier this offseason, and with the preseason debut on Saturday against the Chicago Bears, the fans will get to see what this defense looks like without him for the first time.

Getting traded is never easy for the player or the former team. It’s a jarring experience that takes a while to get used to since Garrett has to learn his new teammates, a new playbook, and of course, buy a new house.

If there’s a wealthy Browns fan out there who wants to scoop up his old house to commemorate a former Browns legend, this is the time to pounce. Cleveland.com shared that Garrett’s $2.1 million house in Wadsworth has officially been listed for sale and is even listed as the site’s house of the week.

“Myles Garrett’s former Northeast Ohio home is up for grabs. The $2.1 million Wadsworth property has five bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, a home theater, gym and enough garage space for seven cars,” said Cleveland.com.

It’s quite impressive what $2.1 million gets you in Cleveland, and it’s also a testament to Garrett that he bought such a practical home despite making such an exorbitant amount of money for so many years. The house has everything a superstar pass rusher would need, though it’s unfortunate the house doesn’t come with enough cars to fill the seven-car garage.

Garrett’s $2.1 million won’t go nearly as far in Los Angeles, but surely he’ll be able to find a safe and exciting new place to call home. This is probably the last tie he still has to Cleveland, so it’s a bit of a bummer to see the house go up for sale and realize it truly is all over.

Whoever buys this house will be inheriting it from a true legend, and hopefully they treat it well. Who knows, maybe Jared Verse will buy it.
