It wasn’t perfect, but the Cleveland Browns were able to pull off the win on Thursday Night. This team fought hard and was able to get the 27-24 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers to improve to 3-1 on the season. Afterward, tight end Harold Fannin Jr. was asked how he felt after Thursday’s victory.
Fannin gave reporter Camryn Justice an honest and real reaction to their win and how they’ve been playing thus far.
“Obviously feeling good. Beat our rivals. We’re juiced up; we’re pumped. I’m just excited. Proud of the guys. They went out there and played their tails off. It’s good to see all our hard work come out.” Fannin said.

It wasn’t easy, but the Browns were able to pull off the late-game victory over the Steelers. There was some doubt when the Steelers tied the game with less than two minutes left in the fourth quarter. However, the Browns were able to drive down the field and kick a 56-yard field goal to win.
Fannin was an important piece of the Browns’ victory on Thursday night. He hauled in three receptions for 27 yards and a touchdown. His lone score was a two-yard pass from quarterback Deshaun Watson late in the second quarter. It wasn’t a massive game from the second-year tight end, but the Browns did a great job of spreading the ball around the offense.
The Browns had six different players haul in at least two receptions during Thursday’s win. They also had four different players rush the ball, including Jaleel McLaughlin, who rushed for a 28-yard touchdown. It’s a lot easier to win football games when everyone is working together and making contributions.
There is still more work to do, but this was a big win for Cleveland. It’s never easy beating a division rival, but taking down the Steelers was certainly a good feeling for the Browns. This team still has plenty to improve on, but these players should feel good about what they’ve accomplished.
Hopefully, this team can carry this momentum into their Week 5 matchup against the New York Jets.
