By now everyone has heard that Cleveland Browns WR Odell Beckham Jr. is out for the season with a torn ACL.

He suffered the injury in the early minutes of the Bengals game on October 25, 2020.

OBJ has posted check-ins recently so fans could see how his recovery is going.

And now his girlfriend Lauren Wood is also sharing a heartfelt post to OBJ while giving fans a glimpse of what he’s going through.

She posted a post-op picture of OBJ; in the picture, is OBJ, his mother, and Wood.

Wood says that OBJ will be back and better than ever.

Lauren Wood

OBJ’s girlfriend Lauren Wood is a model and social media influencer and has 1.5 million followers on Instagram.

Despite her prominent social media status, both she and OBJ have kept their relationship relatively private.

No one is completely sure how long they have been dating because they rarely are photographed together.

Though their relationship became official in November 2019,  sources speculate they were dating in September 2019.

We saw her with OBJ in the height of quarantine when they were doing fun at-home workouts to break up the quarantine monotony.

The recovery process can vary, but the next few months will involve a lot of physical therapy for OBJ.

OBJ’s Future

People have been speculating on OBJ’s exit from Cleveland practically from the time he arrived.

He appeared settled and committed to the Stefanski system.

OBJ is missed by his coaches and teammates.

#Browns Jarvis Landry said he still finds himself looking for his best friend OBJ at practice. Said he's trying to keep his spirits high while he's recovering.

Following the injury, Coach Stefanski said:

“Obviously, it’s a big loss.  He’s a huge part of what we do, so now we just have to huddle up and find some different ways and find some different people and put them in that role. … I’m sick for Odell.”

Browns Future

Unfortunately, the Browns are going to find out how well they play without OBJ.

It has been hypothesized for months that Baker is better without OBJ on the field.

At his best, OBJ is a deep threat and playmaker that draws a lot of opposing defensive attention.

He also is essentially the face of the WR corps so the other players will definitely need to step up in his absence.
