Bleacher Report released its 2026 trade block big board this week, and Jerry Jeudy landed at No. 6 on a list of the league’s top trade candidates heading into the season. Kristopher Knox projected a conditional 2027 fourth-round pick as Jeudy’s trade value, pointing to Cleveland’s rookie receivers as the driving force behind why the veteran could become expendable before the November 10 deadline.
Knox named Buffalo and Kansas City as the most logical landing spots if Cleveland does move on from Jeudy, 2 contenders that could use a proven receiver on a bargain contract without giving up significant draft capital in return.
“The Cleveland Browns made one for-the-future move when they dealt Myles Garrett to the Los Angeles Rams. They could make another, albeit with a much smaller return, by trading away wide receiver Jerry Jeudy. Jeudy had a down year in 2025, along with the rest of the Browns’ offense. However, he was a Pro Bowler in 2024 and is still only 27 years old. He should interest receiver-needy teams, and his $1.5 million base salary for 2026 is extremely team-friendly,” Knox wrote.
The numbers behind Jeudy’s uncertain standing tell a clear story. His 2024 season produced a Pro Bowl selection and 1,229 yards, but that production fell to just 602 yards on 50 catches in 2025. Monken’s decision to shift Jeudy into more of a motion-based Z role this season, with Boston taking over the traditional X spot, was explained as a scheme adjustment meant to simplify his game. If that experiment does not produce results early in the season, Cleveland could simply move on.
A $1.5 million base salary makes Jeudy an easy financial fit for almost any team in need of receiver depth, which is exactly what makes him attractive trade bait even at a modest draft return. For Cleveland, recouping anything for a player whose role has already been reduced would represent a reasonable outcome if the rookies continue developing the way the coaching staff hopes. Whether Jeudy is still on the roster past November 10 may end up depending entirely on how quickly Concepcion and Boston establish themselves as Monken’s primary options at receiver.
