It was a team effort on Sunday as the Cleveland Browns took down the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23-19 for a reassuring Week 2 win. Although multiple players were deeply involved in the victory, rookie wide receiver Denzel Boston may have played the biggest role in their victory.
After just two weeks, the league has taken notice of Boston. That’s why he has been nominated for Rookie of the Week.

Boston walked away with five receptions, 95 receiving yards, and a touchdown on Sunday. He averaged 19 yards per reception, showing that the man has high speed and the ability to blow past the defense. He has stacked up over 150 yards during his first two weeks in the league.
Competition to be named Rookie of the Week will be tough, and Boston is going up against Jonah Coleman of the Denver Broncos, Josiah Trotter of the Buccaneers, and Hezekiah Masses of the Las Vegas Raiders.
Fans were expecting big things from Boston when the Browns chose him in the draft. He has already proven them right and shown that he could be a major part of the team for the long-term future. He has shaken up the wide receiver room and is earning his playing time.
He has already done incredibly well during these first two road games, and now everyone is excited to see what he may do during the team’s first home game in Week 3. He will surely receive a very warm welcome from the loyal, encouraged fans.
