This past offseason, the Cleveland Browns made a big shakeup at head coach. They hired Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Monken to a five-year deal to take over as the leader in Cleveland. He helped the Browns get their first win in Week 2, and now their former head coach is finally on the win board as well.
Former Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski took the head coaching gig of the Atlanta Falcons after leaving Cleveland. He got his first win with Atlanta with a Thursday Night victory over the Green Bay Packers.
Analyst Anthony Lima noticed something different about Stefanski.
“At some point, we’ve got to play Kevin [Stefanski]. Kevin was fired up. Did he become more of a preacher down there in Atlanta? Did you see Kevin get a little louder than he was in Cleveland?” Lima said.

It seems that Stefanski has completely changed personalities since making the move to Atlanta. It’s not necessarily a bad thing, but it’s certainly a different look for Stefanski. He seems more like a preacher in Atlanta than he ever was during his time in Cleveland.
The Browns hired Stefanski in 2020 to take over as the head coach in Cleveland. He went 11-5 and made the playoffs during his first year with the Browns. Sadly, it was basically downhill from there for Stefanski’s career as the Browns head coach.
He won a total of eight games over his final two years in Cleveland, which led to the team moving on from him. Stefanski finished his career with a 45-56 record across six years as the Browns head coach. He got the head coach job in Atlanta this offseason, and he looks like a completely different guy.
Stefanski was known as being a calm, level-headed guy who really didn’t let anything bother him while in Cleveland. Now he goes to Atlanta and gets a fierce passion for his team all of a sudden.
It’s certainly a different look, but we’ll see how long that works for Stefanski in Atlanta.
