Myles Garrett of the Cleveland Browns just had a season for the record books, making league history with the most sacks in a single season. Because of that, he received countless accolades as well as Defensive Player of the Year. And in 2026, he is looking to do it again.
The prediction markets believe he may pull it off. Kalshi is reporting that Garrett currently has the best odds of winning DPOY again next year. He carries that lead with 17 percent. However, it is important to note that Aidan Hutchinson also has 17 percent.
“Myles Garrett & Aidan Hutchinson are currently tied as favorites to take home DPOY in 2026-27, per Kalshi: Myles Garrett — 17%,” Kalshi Football posted on X.
Myles Garrett & Aidan Hutchinson are currently tied as favorites to take home DPOY in 2026-27, per @Kalshi
Myles Garrett — 17%
Aidan Hutchinson — 17%
T.J. Watt — 11%
Micah Parsons — 10%
Will Anderson Jr. — 5% pic.twitter.com/ri9qZkcsF5— Kalshi Football (@KalshiFB) March 31, 2026
Behind those two are TJ Watt with 11 percent, Micah Parsons with 10 percent, and Will Anderson Jr. with 5 percent.
Garrett has already claimed the award twice, while Hutchinson has not won it at all. And although there is a chance that voter fatigue has an impact on Garrett and Hutchinson gets a leg up, he could become the clear favorite if he has a season like last year.
He racked up 23 sacks last year, an all-time record. Garrett has already made it clear that he’d like to break his own record next year. Could 24, 25, or even more sacks be possible?
Becoming DPOY for a third time would be a major career accomplishment for Garrett, but the season would be even better if his Browns also start performing better and become a true presence in the AFC North.
