The tender is worth $3.259 million for the 2020 NFL season.
Friday was the deadline for restricted free agents to sign offer sheets from new teams.
None of the NFL’s restricted free agents received offer sheets this offseason.
Hunt was able to negotiate a deal with another team, but the Browns had the right of first refusal.
The Browns placed a second-round tender on Hunt to ensure he would be back with the team in 2020, providing he stays clean off the field.
On paper, Hunt and Nick Chubb could easily be the best duo in terms of overall talent and potential in the NFL.

It is now up to Hunt to prove he deserves to keep going with his second chance.
In 2019, Hunt had 3 touchdowns while rushing for 4.2 yards per carry in 8 games.
