It’s an odd feeling when the Cleveland Browns don’t have a bunch of holes to fill heading into draft day.
Instead, the front office can mainly focus on getting depth and finding talent they can develop for the future.
A majority of the starting spots on the Browns roster are already filled before we even head into training camp.
However, the front office still might be able to find a prospect or two that can make an impact right away in Cleveland.
The Browns have nearly 10 draft picks, so expect the front office to find a few players who can make an impact right away.
Tulsa LB Zaven Collins
The 2021 linebacker draft class is fairly stacked, which means Tulsa linebacker Zaven Collins could fall in the draft.
There’s a chance that Collins falls all the way down to the Browns at No. 26 on draft day.
He is an explosive game-changing linebacker who was a three-year starter while at Tulsa.
Collins is a tremendous pass rusher with excellent speed off the edge.
Any organization would be happy to have a player like Collins on their roster.

Cleveland already has a few young linebackers with Sione Takitaki, Jacob Phillips, and Mack Wilson.
They also signed former Indianapolis Colts linebacker Anthony Walker to a one-year deal over the offseason.
Despite that, Collins would still be able to make an impact on the Browns roster right away.
He is a reliable option in pass coverage and is clearly able to chase down the quarterback with ease.
During his time at Tulsa, Collins recorded 236 tackles, 25 tackles for loss, and 7.5 sacks.
It is also worth noting that Collins finished with five interceptions during his college career.
He is the type of player that is ready to make an impact on an NFL roster.
Alabama DT Christian Barmore
The rumors continue to swirl around that defensive tackle Christian Barmore will go to the Browns.
At first glance, it makes sense considering Cleveland desperately needs help at the tackle spot.
They no longer have Larry Ogunjobi or Sheldon Richardson heading into the 2021 season.
There is certainly a need for another tackle on the roster and Barmore appears to be the best DT option in the draft class.
It is a fairly weak defensive tackle class, but that isn’t a knock on Barmore’s ability to play football.

He is a technically sound tackle who has excellent speed and quick burst.
There is still room for improvement, but he is well worth the gamble of a late first-round pick.
During his two seasons at Alabama, Barmore recorded 63 tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss, and 10 sacks.
Possibly, Barmore isn’t ready to start from Day 1, but that doesn’t mean he won’t be able to make an impact.
The Browns have Andrew Billings, Jordan Elliott, and Malik Jackson already penciled in on the roster.
They can certainly find a way to get Barmore some rotational action while he works on his game.
Barmore doesn’t have the upside of a player like Zaven Collins, but both of them should be able to make an impact right away in Cleveland.
