The Cleveland Browns got some good news and some bad news on the injury report heading into their Week 7 game against the Tennessee Titans. That is usually what happens to an NFL team at this time of the year.
It could have been a lot worse for the Browns, who entered this week with 16 players listed on the injury report. But it looks like they will be at almost full strength for their first time as a betting favorite this year.
According to ESPN insider Adam Schefter, the Browns made four roster moves on Saturday, which included activating Dylan Sampson from injured reserve and putting guard Teven Jenkins on the list.
“Browns have activated RB Dylan Sampson (knee) from injured reserve and he is expected to play Sunday vs. the Titans. Browns also placed G Teven Jenkins (back) on injured reserve and elevated DT Sam Kamara from their practice squad. Additionally, Browns S Grant Delpit cleared concussion protocol and is expected to play Sunday,” Schefter posted.

Sampson hasn’t played since the first quarter of the first game, when he was injured returning a kickoff against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He will likely return to his role as the Browns’ pass-catching back to complement Quinshon Judkins, who is returning from an ankle injury that sidelined him last week against the Baltimore Ravens.
Jenkins has been troubled by his back injury since training camp, which caused him to lose his starting job to rookie Austin Barber. The Browns likely thought he would be able to return sooner, as they waited this long to place him on IR. Now, he must sit out a minimum of another four weeks.
Kamara was activated from the practice squad, with defensive tackles Kalia Davis (quad) and Mike Hall Jr. (ankle) ruled out. Fortunately, Mason Graham looks like he will be able to return from a knee injury that has kept him out of action since Week 4.
Delpit also should be good to go after leaving the game against the Ravens. He may not be needed for a full workload, as rookie Emmanuel McNeil-Warren played well in his place.
These transactions do not include an activation of quarterback Dillon Gabriel, who is nearing the end of his 21-day practice window after coming off injured reserve with a back issue, so the Browns will push that important roster decision ahead until next week.
