Markway had been on the practice squad for the Steelers and Giants since playing his college ball at South Carolina.
He has never played in an NFL game and has been on the practice squad for most of the season with the Browns.
Browns Injury Report
With tight ends Stephen Carlson and David Njoku both listed as questionable for their playoff game, this paved the way for Markway.

RT Jack Conklin is also listed as questionable with a hamstring injury and backup T Chris Hubbard is on the IR.
Prior to elevating Taylor, Kendall Lamm was the only reserve on the roster.
The Browns signed Taylor in 2020, who was an undrafted free agent from South Carolina State.
He played in one game during the 2020 season.
