As if yesterday’s game was not bad enough, Cleveland Browns players and fans got a big scare when Troy Hill went down in the fourth quarter.
Forget anything else today Troy Hill’s health is the only thing that matters right now #Browns.

He was loaded on the cart and taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
It is a horrible thing for both teams to see and deal with.
Bill Belichick: "Our thoughts and prayers are with Troy Hill. That's something that none of us ever want to see."

Some questioned why he was still in the game at that point as it was out of reach for the Browns so reserve players should have been in.
Early indications were that Hill could move his extremities so there was optimism yesterday.
Today, there is even better news as we learn that Hill was released from the hospital in Boston last night and will be traveling back to Cleveland.
What Happened
Scary that Troy Hill (No. 23) got hurt here. He's been down forever. Cart immediately came out. Team still surrounding him. https://t.co/8C3amZmUSg

It happened near the end of the game during the play when the Patriots scored their final touchdown.
Browns CB Troy Hill was taken off the field on a stretcher. He led with his helmet while attempting to tackle Patriots WR Jakobi Meyers on the touchdown. #CLEvsNE

It appears his head hits the turf, but it initially went unnoticed as the Patriots were celebrating in the end zone.
Some thought it took too long to get the cart out there and get him off the field to be further evaluated.
Diagnosis
Today, it is being reported that Hill suffered a neck sprain.
While that sounds painful, we know it could have been much worse.
Good news on Troy Hill front RT @Browns: Hill was diagnosed with a neck sprain and is cleared to travel back to Cleveland on Monday.

We wish him the best and a full and speedy recovery.
Hill in 2021
Troy Hill, along with John Johnson III, signed with the Browns as free agents from the Los Angeles Rams.
Hill has played well with 29 solo tackles.
He also recorded his first quarterback sacks (two of them) as a Brown in Week 9 against Joe Burrow.
It is strangely appropriate that Hill got his first sacks against the Bengals.
After all, it was the all Ohio game, and Hill is a native of Youngstown, Ohio.
Given the ups and downs of the Browns season, Hill has been a bright spot at times so hopefully he gets well soon.
