The Cleveland Browns are putting in work on the field, preparing for the 2026 season opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. Meanwhile, the front office remains busy working on the roster, particularly when it comes to the practice squad.
After adding defensive tackle Zion Logue on Monday, the Browns brought in two more new players on Tuesday. To make room, they had to let go of two others.
The Browns announced those four roster moves, signing wide receiver Bub Means and defensive end Nadame Tucker to the practice squad, and parting with wide receiver Bryce Oliver and punter Wes Pahl.

The Browns may have had a gentleman’s agreement with Means, who reportedly was ready to join the team after the NFL cutdown deadline in late August, when he was let go by the New Orleans Saints. Now, he is officially on board in Cleveland.
A fifth-round pick by the Saints in the 2024 NFL Draft, Means has seven games of NFL experience. He has nine receptions for 118 yards with one touchdown.
Oliver signed with the Browns last week after being let go by the Tennessee Titans. An undrafted free agent who played 10 games as a rookie in 2024, he has seven NFL receptions for 103 yards.
Tucker was signed by the Los Angeles Chargers as an undrafted free agent shortly after the 2026 NFL Draft. He was let go from their practice squad last week. Cleveland has been looking for pass-rushing depth, and Tucker may be able to satisfy that need after posting 14.5 sacks and 21.0 tackles for loss at Western Michigan last season.
Pahl was signed as an undrafted free agent in May as the Browns tried to create some competition for punter Corey Bojorquez. After averaging 44.7 yards on seven preseason punts, Pahl was let go at the roster deadline but re-signed with the practice squad.
There are likely to be many more moves like this throughout the season as the Browns try to maximize spots throughout the organization.
