While the football will be missed, there is still Browns’ news.
Here are the Browns Nation news and notes for Saturday, January 15, 2022.
1. Associated Press All-Pro Team Announced
The Associated Press announced its All-Pro team selections on Friday.
Three Browns players who are also Pro Bowlers were recognized.
Joel Bitonio and Myles Garrett were named first-team All-Pro.
This is the first time Bitonio has been named to the first team.
From 2018-2020, he was a second-team All-Pro.
This is Garrett’s second consecutive year as a first-team All-Pro.
Prior to that, he was named to the second team in 2018.
Wyatt Teller was named second-team All-Pro for the second straight year.

Both Newsome and JOK were huge contributors to the improved Browns defense in 2021, and they are just getting started.
3. Color Rush Jerseys Coming Back In 2022
Here is something else to look forward to in the 2022 season.
Executive Vice President JW Johnson has indicated that brown color rush jerseys are coming back in 2022.

The color rush jerseys were not used in 2021.
They were worn during the 2020 victory over the Dallas Cowboys with the infamous Jarvis Landry touchdown pass to Odell Beckham Jr.

There is an Ohio team in the NFL playoffs today.
The Cincinnati Bengals host the Las Vegas Raiders at 4:30 PM EST.
This is an interesting matchup since it has been at least a generation since either of these teams has won a playoff game.
The time span is 19 years for the Raiders and 31 years for the Bengals.
Nobody in human history has ever sent a text message about the Bengals winning a playoff game.
Bengals last playoff win: 1991

To further date the Bengals’ previous playoff wins, consider this.
A text message about the Bengals winning a playoff game has never happened.
Text messages originated in 1992, and the last Bengals win was in 1991.
This will be one of the interesting matchups that happen during Super Wildcard Weekend.
