The Cleveland Browns are not done adding to the defense.
They have signed another pass rusher to bolster their depth on the defensive line.
According to Cleveland.com’s Mary Kay Cabot, the Browns are signing former Falcons DE Adrian Clayborn to a two-year, $6 million dollar deal.
He can make another $1 million with incentives.

He had 4 sacks and 2 forced fumbles.
The top 5 edge rushers with 200+ snaps in pass rushing win rate according to PFF last year:
1.JJ Watt (25.3%)
2.Myles Garrett (25%)
3.Joey Bosa (22.9%)
4. Za’Darius Smith (21.2%)
5. Adrian Clayborn (21.1%)Love this signing as a rotational/depth piece #Browns https://t.co/gJ0M8CJAwK

The past two years, Adrian Clayborn is 2nd in pressure rate, and 4th in pass rush win rate among all players with 550+ pass rush reps per PFF.
Add in 2017 and he falls to… 5th in win rate & Tied for 6th in pressure rate.
He isn’t a starter, but everyone else in the top 30 is.

He has made starts in 52 of the 110 games he has played in his career.
His career totals are 36.5 sacks, 196 tackles, 52 tackles for loss, and 97 quarterback hits.
Clayborn is entering his 10th NFL season after playing 4 seasons with the Falcons, 4 with the Buccaneers, and 1 with the Patriots.
He was a first-round pick out of Iowa in 2011.
Clayborn, 31, will most likely be used as a rotational pass rush player and shouldn’t affect the future of Browns DE Olivier Vernon.
