Remember when Cleveland Browns fans thought Colin Cowherd was out on a limb saying that quarterback Baker Mayfield could not win a playoff game because he wore his hat backwards?
Baker Mayfield wore his hat backwards. Bad news for the Browns' QB:
"That just says playoff loss, doesn't it?" — @ColinCowherd pic.twitter.com/0OglfxmkF4

That clip aged well.
Well, his latest Browns rant could be even more out there.
Cowherd is reacting to a recent NFL.com report citing the Browns as the most complete roster in the NFL heading into the 2021 season.
His inclination is to compare the Browns roster to the Coachella music festival which is apparently a star-studded party that everyone wants to go to.
After they are there a little while, they are ready to go home because it was not as good as they expected.
What Cowherd Said
The Cleveland Browns are @coachella:
"It sounds great and there are a lot of big names… The Browns have a little bit of that feel to them." — @ColinCowherd pic.twitter.com/i2SEoEsSzI
— Herd w/Colin Cowherd (@TheHerd) June 29, 2021
Cowherd lists the big names of Baker, Clowney, Hunt, and OBJ as he talks about what the Browns have.
Then, he dismantles them one by one.
These players according to Cowherd are as follows:
- Baker – The team is better when he throws less.
- Clowney – He is like a movie poster that looks better than the movie, has moments of greatness.
- Hunt – He is a backup.
- OBJ – He is always hurt.
Basically, he says that the names and the vibe are better than the team.
Cowherd goes on to say that if Myles Garrett is injured, who will the Browns rely on?
Sheldon Richardson is gone, and the secondary is good but new and young.
It is unclear how they will perform.
Cowherd Likes The Rest Of The List
Behind the Browns on the NFL.com list are the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, and Buffalo Bills.
Most complete NFL teams heading into 2021 season? Browns, Buccaneers lead the pack in @MarcRoss' rankingshttps://t.co/1KYsKpCOyH pic.twitter.com/sYIrWAUVca

Cowherd says the Bucs are obviously ready to win another Super Bowl; they kept the team together that won it last season.
He believes the Chiefs are ready also.
Cowherd also really believes the Bills and Ravens are prepared as they have made necessary upgrades to the defensive line and receiving corps respectively in the offseason.
He also said the Bills and Ravens were already performing at a high level.
What’s The Difference Between The Browns, Bills, and Ravens?
In addition to the Coachella comparison that most of us cannot relate to, it is hard to understand how he feels the Browns differ dramatically from the Bills and Ravens.
All three are young teams that made the playoffs last season.
They all won at least one playoff game.
Each team attempted to fix the roster deficiencies it had in 2020 during this offseason.
In a sense, all are unproven as there are new players in the mix.
The difference boils down to Cowherd’s apparent bias against the Browns and Baker Mayfield.
There is really no other way to explain it.
Words can’t describe how much I loathe Cowterd. I just wish the rest of the media and sports fans would just ghost his shows and never speak of him again. He’d be gone from the industry forever.
Here is the issue. Cowherd gets a response and he gets paid. Brownsnation gets a response and they gain their own level of success.
So maybe we all unsubscribe from this newsletter the next time they click bait us with the queen of NFL clickbait.
Ratza Fratza says
He’s cherry picking the talent out of our damn good talent but not doing the math per how they average togetther to be as good as an,y body and better than most. The key is our Best in the League running back tandem.. We’re going to keep everybody honest with it and lop their heads off with Schwartz and our other wrs. Baker was said to be among the best long ball throwers, that’s got to be a secret weapon. Not to mention our defense. which is undeniably among the best at ever position.. Its unquestionable when you have actually checked and evaluated with your own eyes their talent.. Even objectively speaking this team is right there,. Is that an objective opinion Cowerd or yours?
Sounds like the “Cow-Herder” has a whole lot of experience with the coachella concert. Perhaps he was REMOVED & told to never come back. I never watch his tv stuff but would luv to take him to a Browns game. I would welcome him to come to the CLE & attend a game with me.. Come sit with the true fans & get a better understanding of us & our team. Then you will not sound so full of bias & & a tad bit misinformed next time you open your mouth.
“Where Colin was wrong…”
Who gives a crap about Colin cowherd, he’s just a big mouth with alot of hot air.
