Beginning with the 2022 season, Cleveland baseball legend Jim Thome will no longer be watching the Cleveland Browns in person at FirstEnergy Stadium with his season tickets.
Thome, his wife, Andrea, and their family have been Browns season ticket holders for years, but they are looking to get a refund for those tickets as soon as possible.

Andrea took to Twitter to explain their situation.

As 40 year Browns fans, they feel as though they cannot continue with their season ticket membership now that the Browns have traded for Deshaun Watson.
“Very sad after 40 years as a fan, but this is my line in the sand. I believe women. Especially when there are 22 of them. That press conference did nothing to change my mind.”
Because their tickets were prepaid, she is seeking a full refund.
She has devised an excellent backup plan if a full refund is not possible.
They may not give us a refund. But I sent the letter today. If @Browns won’t refund—-I will auction off every single game and publicly donate every cent to different women’s crisis charities in N.E. Ohio, raising awareness week by week during the season.

Mrs. Thome described her plan as follows:

What Will The Browns Do?
It is not clear how the Browns will handle Andrea Thome’s request.
She is likely not alone in her desire to cancel her season tickets though she may be more high-profile than other fans.
On the other side of the coin, there is probably a long list of fans interested in scooping up Browns season tickets.

It is what the Browns had to anticipate as part of the fallout from the Watson trade.
One press conference with Watson is not nearly enough to calm intense personal feelings about this issue.
Everyone is entitled to their feelings and should act accordingly without judgment since this goes far beyond football.

I think the Browns ownership and management spit in Baker Mayfield’s face. That is after they stabbed him in the back. How could any player trust the Browns again? The Browns have been a loosing franchise for decades. They destroyed coaches, players and especially quarterback’s. They draft a underdog in Baker Mayfield who always wins. Baker, brought respectability and competitiveness to the Browns. He won a playoff game for the first time in generations for the Browns. Then goes out and plays hurt, not for a game but most of a seasons. Ownership and coaching didn’t help Baker at all last year. They used him. Maybe he was immature, but they didn’t say that when he won a playoff game. That was some B💩 ownership came up with to get rid of him. Now you have a new quarterback, that has ton’s of baggage. 22 women brought accusations against Deshaun Watson, how many did he have sex with? Strong moral character their. He looks at women as a object for sexual gratification. What has he won? Nothing, and Deshaun always played on a better team then Baker had. Browns where so close to climbing out of the cesspool and into respectability.
Now the Browns showed who they are. A team that cannot be trusted to play for. Yes football is a business. Did the Browns break any rules? No, but they did destroy the teams character. Ownership is two faced and does not value or respect women. And once again the Browns tried to destroy another quarterback. And left a great family man who in bodies strong morals and great character.
Even with a knife in his back, and
spit on his face. Raise above Baker, stand on the sidelines and collect
your millions. Do it like a pro and then
next year play for a a honest team. And go win the Super Bowl.
Now it seem the ball droppers and media whiners want to come back! Not a fan anymore!
