The Cleveland Browns were reportedly not willing to meet the contract demands of linebacker Joe Schobert.
Apparently, the Jacksonville Jaguars were.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Joe Schobert is signing a 5-year $53.75 million dollar deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The deal pays him $10.75 million a year with a $12 million signing bonus.
It also includes $22.5 million guaranteed overall.
Schobert is coming off a very good 2019 season with career high’s in INT’s and tackles for loss.
Recently, Schobert had expressed his desire to stay in Cleveland.
For the 2019 season, Schobert had 133 combined tackles, which ranked 10th overall.
Schobert has played 4 years in the NFL.
He was selected by the Browns in the 4th round of the 2016 draft out of Wisconsin.
The Browns expressed interest in having Schobert back, but not at the price he was seeking.
