Cleveland Browns‘ legendary left tackle Joe Thomas still bleeds orange and brown despite retiring from the team at the end of the 2017 season.
Thomas livened up the Steelers fanbase with a tweet to his 265,000 followers after the Steelers lopsided loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
He obviously wanted to make sure his message was received by the Steelers since he tagged them in his tweet.
The resulting Twitter back and forth was the highlight for Browns fans forced to watch the playoffs without their team in the mix.
What Thomas Tweeted
Thomas wrote:
“@Steelers, congratulations on your playoff participation trophy”
.@Steelers, congratulations on your playoff participation trophy

To date, 12,500 people liked the tweet, and the number continues to climb.
Joe Thomas trolling Steelers fans makes my heart happy. 🐐🐐 #Browns

A Steelers Fan Jabbed Back
One person who did not take too kindly to it was a Steelers fan named Justin Miner.
I’m still waiting for this to sting…not yet;
NFL is binary, you win the super bowl or you don’t…there’s no in between

“Do you have any of those trophies? Not one of the Lombardi Trophies, I mean the participation trophy.”
In typical Thomas fashion, he shut it down while replying to both Miner and the Steelers.
“I’m still waiting for this to sting…not yet;…NFL is binary, you win the super bowl or you don’t…there’s no in between.”
Thomas Was Not Done Roasting The Steelers
He was not done yet.
Thomas delivered one more blow to the fanbase of his former rivals.
…maybe the fact that Steelers fans got so triggered by this was proof that my tweet recognized a huge insecurity 😎😎 you guys have Mason Rudolph under center next year😂 good luck winning 5 games https://t.co/TxZVGYwUXk

Conclusion
The AFC North is going to look different next year.
Obviously, the Steelers after Ben Roethlisberger is just one factor.
The Ravens and the Browns also have roster issues to address.
Thomas just stated the obvious but did so while managing to stir the pot for the 2022 season.

Joe says
I like how the Steelers fans were “triggered” 😂 Literally the whole nation jumped on Joe Thomas for this dumb tweet… it was too easy. Dude went 1-31 his last two seasons 😂 he says it doesn’t sting.. but his whole career with the Browns was a giant participation trophy. There are people who have no idea who Joe Thomas is for the fact he spent his whole career with the Browns. Great player… played on some of the worst teams in NFL history.
Bill says
Face it Joe you sucked ,no one remembers you as a player ,just a big mouth that could not go on the books like Ben and the Steelers ,
