It has been a long ride for former Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon.
The 29-year-old receiver was suspended five times during his playing days in the NFL.
Those are now over, but he’s making an impact in the Fan Controlled Football League.
On Saturday, Gordon made some absolutely incredible plays in order to help lead his team to victory.

It certainly seems that the former Pro Bowl receiver still has something left in the tank.
He definitely knows how to make an impact and left everyone amazed by the end of Saturday’s contest.
Gordon’s Incredible Game
The former NFL receiver hauled in four receptions for 70 yards and two touchdowns in the win on Saturday.
He was named the player of the game which was completely fair given how the contest ended.
The score was tied at 26 with seconds remaining on the clock, which means it was time for a Hail Mary.
Somehow, Gordon was able to make an incredible game-winning touchdown grab.
It was a beautiful play that is worth watching once or twice, possibly a hundred times.

It seems that “Flash” still has something left to prove on the football field.
However, it sounds like Gordon just wants to have fun and help teach the younger players a few things, which is nice to see as a veteran player.
“I want to come out here and make some plays and have some fun and most importantly be a part of something bigger than myself, bigger than football,” Gordon said. “Passing the game down to guys younger than me, guys that might have questions about how the game is played at the next level. If I can impart some wisdom, that’s what I’m going to do.”
Gordon is a former second-round pick and had tons of hype coming into the NFL.
Sadly, a majority of his playing career was lost due to multiple suspensions and violations.
Possibly, the NFL was making an example of Gordon, but he needs to follow the rules just like everyone else in the league.
It certainly seems that Gordon has matured since his playing days in the NFL.

It’s a shame that his time in the NFL was cut short, but it obviously wasn’t due to his lack of ability
Clearly, Gordon is talented and could likely still play at the professional level.
That doesn’t seem like something that is going to happen again, but at least he’s having fun and helping somebody win football games.
