In 2017, the Cleveland Browns used their number 1 overall draft pick on defensive end out of Texas A&M, Myles Garrett.
Not too many disputed the choice as a dominant defensive end is one of the key ingredients to developing a Super Bowl team.
The three years Garrett attended and played for Texas A&M, he recorded 31 sacks.
Myles Garrett has been in the midst of controversy in his NFL career, but he is bouncing back nicely this year by absolutely dominating on the field.
Myles Garrett 2020 Season
The Cleveland Browns are now 3-1 in large part due to the dominant play of Myles Garrett.
On the year thus far, he has recorded 5 sacks and forced 3 fumbles.
In the win over the Dallas Cowboys, Garrett had 2 sacks and forced 1 fumble.
He completely took over the game and helped his Browns jump out to a early lead by forcing turnovers and giving the offense ample scoring opportunities.
Throughout the game, Myles Garrett took over the Twitter world by storm with his fantastic play.
Strip sack by Myles Garrett.
Steele has nothing, and I mean nothing, for Garrett.

Myles Garrett was able to take advantage of his matchup and apply pressure on Dak Prescott throughout the entire game.
His domination also allowed others on the defensive line to “eat”.
The Browns defense recorded three sacks, forced two fumbles (which they recovered both) and intercepted Prescott once.

On this play, we see Garrett get into the back field with ease, force a fumble, setting up his offense with excellent scoring position.
After yesterday’s game, Garrett is now the sack (5) leader in the NFL and will look to continue his dominant play next week when the Cleveland Browns take on the Indianapolis Colts.
That is going to be another fascinating matchup to watch as the Colts have one of the best offensive lines in the NFL.
Browns Extended Their Star DE In The Offseason
Early in the summer, the Cleveland Browns extended their number 1 overall pick.
The #Browns and star pass-rusher Myles Garrett are closing in on a 5-year extension worth $125M, sources say. Another massive deal, this time for $25M in new money per year. Their top priority of this offseason and they are in the final stages. 💰💰💰

Many were surprised as this deal at the time made Garrett the highest-paid pass rusher in the league.
The Browns were hoping that Garrett would translate his college game into the NFL when drafting him in 2017.
It is safe to say that thus far in his early career, he has been able to cash the check that the Browns have written for him with his tremendous play.
Garrett has 35.5 sacks in his NFL career and he is on pace to have a big fourth year.
The Cleveland Browns have high hopes and aspirations of making the playoffs this year; so far they are off to a good start and their defense, led by Myles Garrett, is paving the way forward.
