The Cleveland Browns had a disastrous Week 10 game against the New England Patriots.
They looked unprepared, and unable to make adjustments to be competitive.
What a difference a week makes from that total team win over the Cincinnati Bengals?
Here are some of the social media reactions to the Browns blowout loss.
Who’s To Blame?
Today, it seems like the entire team can share the blame.
Whereas Week 9 was a total team win, Week 10 was a total team loss.
It’s not just Baker, it’s the entire team.
Receivers are not getting open.
Defense is getting torched
Baker is playing bad
Joe Woods is getting schooled
Kevin Stefanski is getting schooled
We are just being outclassed in every single way. #Browns

Apparently, the game plan was not to get in Mac Jones‘ face.
From @ESPNStatsInfo: Mac Jones was pressured on only 1 of his 16 dropbacks in the 1st half (sack). With no duress, he went 12-of-14 for 123 yards and 2 TD from inside the pocket.

A Play Calling Problem
It seems like this topic comes up after every loss.
Fans wonder if Coach Stefanski should be calling the plays, and they also wonder about the consistency or inconsistency applied to his play calling.
#Browns
Absolute coaching failure. Giving up 45 to a rookie qb is as fireable offense. The DC is horrible and getting boat raced with this talent proves it.
Bland offense. Little to no motion or deep shots. Zero creativity. #Stefanski has to be better running the O.— Curt Prinz (@CurtisPrinz) November 14, 2021
This is not the first week that Stefanski has been compared to Freddie Kitchens.
Let’s face it, no one wants to be mentioned in the same breath as Kitchens when it comes to play calling.
Honestly, can you say that #Stefanski is calling plays better than #Freddie did? Honestly? @Browns

Baker Mayfield throwing for 73 yards is disgusting but the play calling was worse. Didn’t we put up 51 with the special teams coach calling the plays🤷♂️ #Browns #stefanski #CLEvsNE

A Defensive Problem
Browns defensive coordinator Joe Woods is frustrating the fans also.
I've officially joined the fire #joewoods bandwagon. I've seen enough through 10 games. Even Cincy was driving the ball last week and the only thing that saved them were the takeaways. #Browns

What is our defense running #Browns this is embarrassing #Joewoods

Has joe woods been fired yet? #JoeWoods

Nick Chubb Was Missed
While there was plenty of agreement that the Browns played terrible football today, there were mixed opinions on whether having Nick Chubb in the lineup would have made a difference.
Chubb was sidelined with COVID-19.
I miss Nick Chubb 😞
— bri (@breezyCLE) November 14, 2021
Maybe Nick Chubb is the most valuable player on this team.

No, Nick Chubb would not of made a difference today

Tough To Bounce Back From This One
The Browns have played badly through portions of games this season, but this is the first time that they played badly for all four quarters.
Fixing things is what we always hear about in postgame press conferences.
If today is an indication of how the second half of the season will go, there need to be major overhauls and not just minor fixes.
This team has been incapable of stringing together consistent high-level play from week to week.
It is going to be tough to pick themselves up from this loss.
