The Cleveland Browns have added some major free agents this offseason, but that’s not the only change that’s happening in 2020.

On Wednesday, the Browns announced their new uniforms for the upcoming 2020 campaign.

It didn’t take long for social media and many Browns players to post their reactions of the new uniforms.

Quarterback Baker Mayfield posted a clip of himself opening the new uniforms and reacting to the new jerseys he’ll be wearing this season.

All proceeds from jersey sales go to benefit the Browns “Hats off to our Heroes” fund, which will aid health care professionals, first responders, educational professionals and other groups who are pivotal in the community year round and serving as role models in the face of significant adversity due to COVID-19. The New Uniforms

From the video, Mayfield takes a look at both the color rush and new white jerseys the Browns will be wearing this season.

It appears he’s a big fan of the new simple way the white jerseys look.

The Browns new uniforms feature brown jerseys with white numbers and white jerseys with brown numbers that will be worn with brown or white pants.

Both sets of uniforms have a brown stripe sandwiched by two orange stripes running down the side.

Both the tops and bottoms will include the traditional striping with three white stripes and two orange stripes on the brown jerseys.

The color rush jerseys became popular and were the 2019 home uniforms, but they have decided to remove the stripes on the jerseys and pants.

The Browns’ helmet will continue to feature a brown facemask, but won’t include carbon fiber texture in the striping.

Each jersey has the year 1946 stitched into it since that was the year the Browns were founded.

It replaces “DAWG POUND,” which was on the collar of the jerseys from 2015-2019.

It appears the simple new look has become a fan favorite already.

While many teams have decided to take the flash approach, sometimes keeping it simple is the best route.

It sounds like everyone is ready to see the Browns take the field in their new uniforms in 2020.
