The Cleveland Browns knew they had to improve their secondary in the offseason.
They started with the signing of former Rams safety John Johnson III.
It seems now they are showing interest in CB Shaquill Griffin according to Josina Anderson.
My understanding is the #Browns are keeping an eye on CB Shaquill Griffin and his market. Everything is about the price. Teams and players…

The Seahawks opted to not give Griffin the franchise tag in hopes of working out a new deal with him.
But, they have not been on the same page when it comes to the money that he is reportedly seeking.
NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo gave an update on Griffin’s situation Monday.
From @gmfb on the free agent CB market. William Jackson, Patrick Peterson and Shaquill Griffin are among the top available but the second tier of players at the position should get good money as well.

“The Seahawks would love to have him back,” Garafalo said. “But they’ve had some discussions and are not in the same ballpark on money right now. So Griffin is going to go to the market and see what’s available there and Seattle is saying ‘keep us in the loop, we’d be interested in having you back at a certain number.’”
Garafolo did not mention the number that Griffin is seeking, but says Griffin believes he would be worth more on the free agent market.
As of Monday, Seattle only has $17 million available in cap space, which has led to the belief that they will not be players in the first wave of free agency.
