After the good news of Jarvis Landry being activated, Friday provided some really bad news for the Cleveland Browns.
Running back Nick Chubb has been ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Chubb has been dealing with a calf injury and did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday though it is unlikely anyone really believed he would not be in uniform and pounding the ball on Sunday.

It Is Kareem Hunt Time
Though the Browns work best with the Chubb and Hunt tandem, the good news is that Kareem Hunt is at practice today.

Hunt is also dealing with injuries to his wrist and knee and did not practice on Wednesday.
He was working on the side on Thursday.

Who Is Available
Chubb's absence will mean more of a look at intriguing rookie Demetric Felton.
Felton has zero carries, but 76 yards and 1 TD on 7 targets this season.

Rookie Demetric Felton and D’Ernest Johnson are available.
It is possible that we could see some extra creativity with the running game that also involves OBJ and potentially Jarvis Landry if he is able to play.
Browns Injuries Are Adding Up
Thursday’s Browns injury report had 17 players on it; that is a lot going into Week 6.
The Browns’ offensive line has been hobbling along for weeks.
The team is in the middle of a three game stint over the course of eleven days.
This is a short week for the Browns as their Week 7 game happens on Thursday night against the Denver Broncos.
Chubb is a workhorse so there is definitely not the thought of saving him for Thursday; his injury must be severe enough to warrant the rest regardless of the schedule.
Though only in Week 6, this is a must win game for the Browns over the undefeated Cardinals.
There is a big difference between being 4-2 and 3-3 on a short week of preparation.
