It’s been a wild few months for KC Concepcion of the Cleveland Browns. In a relatively short amount of time, he was drafted by a major NFL team and is not a vital part of that team’s lineup.
The rookie wide receiver has been making waves, especially with his recent performance against the Tennessee Titans. Concepcion has become very comfortable in his new environment and has had great things to say about the city of Cleveland while speaking to Jac Collinsworth.
Concepcion told Collinsworth that the residents have been very warm and “welcoming” and have made him feel instantly at home.
“The energy is just like electric. Every time I go out somewhere, Cleveland is always showing me love and coming up to me, taking pictures, having conversations. I personally like to go out in the community to the high school games. I would just say that Cleveland has been very welcoming,” Concepcion said.

Collinsworth noted that the people of Cleveland have been waiting for a moment – and a team – like this for a very long time. They have shown that they are ready to celebrate the players who are bringing victory back to the franchise, and they are very encouraging and supportive.
Of course, Concepcion’s love from Cleveland residents is well-founded and earned. He has been playing incredibly well so far this season, and all the praise and love is totally justified. Some rookies crack under the pressure of playing on such a big stage, but that hasn’t been the case with Concepcion. And the better he plays, the more support he will get from the loyal fanbase.
So far this season, Concepcion has racked up 315 yards. He obviously has hands like glue and is creating a special bond with quarterback Deshaun Watson.
He is averaging 10.5 yards per reception and has been able to participate in all seven games this year. The young man clearly has talent and drive and is available when the Browns need him. He is an obvious team player.
Therefore, it’s no wonder that the people of Cleveland are already so fond of him.
