Jerome Ford will miss a game or two after spraining an ankle late in Sunday’s win.
And the news energized the Cleveland Browns‘ social media fanbase to push for a running back trade.
It does not appear Andrew Berry will make a deal for a star like Derrick Henry.
He did, however, make a running back move, as reported by Brad Stainbrook of the OBR.

Berry signed veteran rusher Jordan Wilkins to the practice squad today.
Wilkins played in Cleveland’s preseason games against Philadelphia and Kansas City.
Fans probably remember his two botched handoffs more than Wilkins’ 23 yards on four carries.
In a bit of irony, Wilkins was added in August to fill in after another Ford injury.
Despite Ford’s injury, Cleveland waived another practice squad running back, Deon Jackson, on Monday.
That left Kareem Hunt and Pierre Strong to share the load against the Seahawks.
And Wilkins is likely to be activated as a third option.
Berry might have another spot open on the practice squad soon.

Rumors are that the Los Angeles Rams want to sign kicker Lucas Havrisik away from the Browns.
It remains to be seen if Berry tries to get a fourth rusher before Sunday, possibly bringing back Jackson.
Given the short-term nature of Ford’s injury, Berry is unlikely to seek a more impactful addition.
And we’re not suggesting anything by mentioning the NFL trade deadline is just a week away.
