The Cleveland Browns continue to get good news regarding the injuries that their players have suffered over the past few weeks. It looks like they have avoided a situation that could have been much more dire.
The Browns continue to stock the injury report, as they had 16 players listed to start the week. But many of them are making progress and will either return to or remain on the field against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.
According to Camryn Justice of News 5 Cleveland, the Browns got good injury news on veteran linebacker Quncy Williams ahead of the Titans game, as he was able to practice on Friday.
“Browns LB Quincy Williams, who didn’t practice yesterday with a neck injury, was back today. LB Carson Schwesinger (ankle), S Grant Delpit (concussion/shoulder), RBs Quinshon Judkins (ankle) and Dylan Sampson (knee) and DT Mason Graham (knee/ankle) all continued practicing,” Justice posted.

Williams is second on the Browns with 40 combined tackles, behind only fellow linebacker Schwesinger, who has 56 in the first six games. With both of them ailing, Cleveland could have been facing significant absences against Tennessee, but it looks like they will be at their familiar positions without a major concern.
Graham’s return would also be notable, as it was feared he would be out for multiple games after suffering a leg injury in Week 4. He was in the midst of a breakout campaign in his second season, with four sacks in the first three games, and Justice has reported that he is trending toward playing after sitting out just two games. That would be a very important development with Kalia Davis (quad) and Mike Hall Jr. (ankle) in danger of sitting out again.
Judkins was unable to play in Cleveland’s Week 6 win against the Baltimore Ravens, and Sampson has been sidelined since its Week 1 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Hopefully, they will be able to boost a struggling running game that has produced very little other than scrambles and designed plays from quarterback Deshaun Watson.
Delpit also looks ready to go after clearing concussion protocol, so the Browns will be almost at full strength after it was possible they could have been seriously diminished for this first of three straight road games.
