The Cleveland Browns announced Monday they have signed defensive end Ifeadi Odenigbo to their practice squad.
Odenigbo, 27, marks the Browns’ 16th and final practice squad player.
The Browns already have depth at the defensive end position with All-Pro Myles Garrett, Jadeveon Clowney, Takk McKinley and Joe Jackson on the active roster.
Plus, the Browns have defensive ends Porter Gustin and Curtis Weaver on their practice squad.
Last week, the New York Giants cut Odenigbo.

Odenigbo has started 15 of the 32 games he’s appeared in during his NFL career.
Odenigbo attended Centerville High School in Ohio, where he played football and ran track and field.
The Minnesota Vikings picked Odenigbo out of Northwestern in the seventh round of the 2017 NFL Draft with the 220th overall pick.

In 16 games played that year, Odenigbo had seven sacks, 13 quarterback hits, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries, one of which he returned 56 yards for a touchdown.
In his NFL career, Odenigbo has compiled 59 tackles, 10.5 sacks, 10 tackles for a loss, 28 quarterback hits, one safety, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries and a defensive touchdown.
From 2012-2016, Odenigbo played college football at Northwestern, where he finished second in school history with 23.5 sacks.
In 2016, Odenigbo led the Big Ten with 10.0 sacks, which helped him earn a First-Team All-Big Ten by the conference’s coaches.
Odenigbo still holds the Northwestern single-game record for most sacks with four against Iowa on Oct. 1, 2016.
Born in Bayonne, New Jersey, Odenigbo became the first member of his family born in the U.S. after his parents came to the country from Nigeria.
