The Cleveland Browns are expected to bulk up their offensive line during the upcoming NFL Draft.
There’s multiple areas of concern for Cleveland, but adding a tackle is a must for this organization.
It appears the Browns are showing interest in Georgia Bulldogs offensive tackle Andrew Thomas.
They reportedly had a pre-draft meeting with Thomas, so it appears the Browns could go after him with their No. 10 selection in the upcoming draft.
Would selecting Thomas in this spot be the best move for the future of the organization?
Georgia OT Andrew Thomas, who’s widely seen as one of the best offensive tackle prospects in this class, has had FaceTime meetings with the #Browns, #Dolphins, #Jaguars, and #Jets. He also has a meeting with the #Giants upcoming this week, per source.

Who is Andrew Thomas?
Thomas was a five-star high school recruit and a top-50 overall player before he even took the field for Georgia.
He earned Freshman All-American honors after starting 15 games at right tackle for Georgia during his first season.
He switched to left tackle his sophomore season, but that didn’t slow down his play.
Thomas earned second-team Associated Press All-American and first-team All-SEC honors while playing 13 games during his second season.
His junior year was just as strong as the last two, but he did miss one game with an ankle injury in 2018.
Thomas finished off his college career by earning first-team Associated Press All-American and first-team all-conference accolades during his 2019 campaign.
It’s easy to see why Thomas is looked upon as one of the best tackles in the upcoming NFL Draft.
Would Thomas Fit on the Browns?
The simple answer is that Thomas is looking like a Day 1 starter on just about every professional organization.
He earned a boatload of accolades in college and appears to be getting better each season.
He has shown he is ready for professional football and Thomas can play both right and left tackle.
That is great news for Cleveland who could use an upgrade at both tackle positions.
Thomas would be a fantastic fit in Cleveland, but it’s unknown if he’ll fall to the Browns at No. 10.
There’s a chance 8 or 9 offensive linemen could be selected in the 1st Round of the 2020 NFL Draft, which would make it 25%-33% blockers.

Will Thomas Fall to the Browns?
While it’s almost impossible to predict how the draft will play out, there is a chance that Cleveland ends up with Thomas.
The bad part is, there are other organizations ahead of Cleveland that are desperate for offensive line help as well.
The Jacksonville Jaguars, New York Jets, and Miami Dolphins have all conducted meetings with Thomas already.
Both the Jaguars and Dolphins have their first-round selection before Cleveland.
There’s a good chance that Miami waits on offensive line and takes a quarterback with the No. 5 pick.
Although, Jacksonville would be a great fit for Thomas and the organization needs a tackle desperately.
The good news is, there aren’t many other organizations besides Jacksonville that would likely select Thomas before the No. 10 spot.
It sounds promising that Cleveland could land their offensive tackle for the foreseeable future, but fans will have to wait and see how the draft plays out.
