The Cleveland Browns worked hard during the NFL draft and walked away with some promising, powerful rookies. So far, those rookies have been showing they were worthy additions to the team.
One rookie in particular has had people talking a lot: wide receiver KC Concepcion. Because of his hard work and great output, Concepcion has now been nominated for Rookie of the Week.
The team hopped on social media to celebrate their up-and-coming star.
“That’s our guy; vote KC for Rookie of the Week at @nfl!” the Browns posted.

Concepcion has been nominated alongside Omar Cooper of the New York Jets, Caleb Douglas of the Miami Dolphins, and Kendal Daniels of the Atlanta Falcons. Fans are now able to vote on the winner, who will be announced on Thursday.
Concepcion has been getting attention all season long, especially during the Browns’ last game against the Tennessee Titans. He was a key piece of the team’s close 27-24 win.
Sunday was his best day yet, and the rookie earned eight catches for 129 yards, all of which came in the first half of the game. He also racked up three carries for 23 yards, which showed that he can find his way past just about any kind of defender.
Sunday might have been Concepcion’s breakout game, but the young player has felt like he’s been building to a moment like this. He has repeatedly shown his confidence and belief in himself. He wants to be a crucial part of the Browns’ lineup, and believes that he can be.
The better he plays, the more responsibilities he will get. He has been building a strong working relationship with quarterback Deshaun Watson, and he will continue to foster that in the weeks ahead. The Browns have a lot of great young stars in their lineup and many things to be excited about.
Concepcion isn’t the only success story coming out of this year’s draft, but he may be the biggest.
