With the 2020 NFL season coming to a close, it’s time for the Cleveland Browns to make improvements in 2021.
One of those upgrades could come in the form of a pass-rusher opposite of Myles Garrett.
According to recent reports, that pass-rusher could be J.J Watt.
After his recent release by the Houston Texans, there has been much speculation about where he will land.
Ed Werner of ESPN is reporting that the Browns are among the teams interested in signing J.J Watt.

A player like Watt would add a big-time defensive presence with the Browns.
The 3-time defensive player of the year award winner was the face of the Texans since being drafted in 2011.
At age 31, Watt will likely be looking to play for a Super Bowl contender entering his 11th season.
He would be a welcome addition for any team that signed him, even though is he is coming off of a down year.
In 2020, he had 36 tackles, 5 sacks, 14 tackles for loss, 2 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery, 1 interception, and 1 touchdown.
After being released by the Texans, Watt delivered a heartfelt message to Texas.
“I have sat down with the McNair family and I have asked them for my release and we have mutually agreed to part ways at this time,” Watt said in a video posted to Twitter. “I came here 10 years ago as a kid from Wisconsin who’d never really been to Texas before. And now I can’t imagine my life without Texas in it. The way that you guys have treated me, besides draft night. I mean, you guys booed me on draft night. But every day after that, you treated me like family. And I truly feel like you’re my family.
Houston, I wanted you to hear this directly from me… pic.twitter.com/YqT3P6Lb6l
