The Cleveland Browns need to reshape their offense. However, that doesn’t mean that they shouldn’t bring some of their current players back.
If anything, they seem to have found a diamond in the rough. Malachi Corley was the two-way stud they hoped to get in Elijah Moore. Corley led all wide receivers in rushing yards last season (127).
That’s why he took to social media to give himself a big pat on the back:
“I’m From Around The Way, I’m Leaving With Something,” Corley posted on X.

While that may not sound like much, we’re talking about a rotational player who wasn’t on the field that often. More than that, he played in one of the league’s worst and most dysfunctional offenses.
Corley showed glimpses of being a lite Deebo Samuel. He’s the kind of guy who can line up all over the offense.
He’s a speedy player who can be a big-play threat or be a gadget player in jet sweeps and whatnot. That’s the type of guy who opens up the playbook and has plenty of things to offer an offense.
The Browns’ offense should look quite different next season. Kevin Stefanski won’t be there to call the shots anymore, and it’s hard to believe that they will keep offensive coordinator Tommy Rees, who’s also reportedly a hot commodity in the college football scene.
More than that, the team will have to revamp the roster. They don’t have that much talent in the wide receiver department, and they can’t afford to roll into next season with Jerry Jeudy as their primary pass catcher again.
Only Quinshon Judkins, Dylan Sampson, and Harold Fannin Jr. should be fully expected to have prominent roles right out of the gate. They might also try to get Isaiah Bond more involved after a quiet rookie season. Other than that, there aren’t many incentives to keep other players not named Malachi Corley.
Even if he’s not a superstar, he showed more than enough flashes to be worth an extended look with this team next season.
