Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett’s offseason workout saga continues.
On Monday, Garrett posted a Twitter video of himself doing a 58-inch box jump (4 feet, 10 inches) while wearing a Jurassic Park T-shirt.
In the video, Garrett’s trainer said the jump came at the end of a lower-body workout session.
Apparently, Garrett and his trainer wagered lunch on whether he could successfully make the jump.
“I don’t think that he’s necessarily going to hit it, but he wants to get me lunch, so here we go,” Garrett’s trainer said at the start of the video.
Garrett’s trainer concedes defeat after Garrett successfully makes the jump.
“Lunch on me,” the trainer said.
Initially, Garrett miscalculated the height of his jump at 64 inches (5 feet, 4 inches).
While Garrett’s box jump was actually 58 inches, he said he needs one week to successfully land a 64-inch box jump.

Monday’s video isn’t the first time Garrett has posted a video of his offseason workouts that show off his athleticism.
Last week, Garrett posted a 59-second Twitter video of his basketball skills.
The video shows Garrett playing in a pickup game, throwing down several slam dunks with ease, showing off some crossover moves and hitting several jump shots.
The basketball video shows Garrett wearing a Jurassic Park cutoff.

Perhaps Garrett’s workout videos are one way to lure a free-agent edge rusher to sign with the Browns this offseason, especially with defensive end Olivier Vernon due to become an unrestricted free agent.
The free-agent negotiating window starts on March 15 with the official signing period getting underway on March 17.
It’s no surprise the Browns gave Garrett a five-year, $125 million contract extension last offseason.
Before a positive COVID-19 tested forced Garrett to miss two games of the 2020 regular season, he was considered among the favorites to win NFL Defensive Player of the Year.
During the 2020 regular season, Garrett played in 14 games, had 12 sacks, 48 combined tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 18 quarterback hits, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
In the last three years, Garrett has averaged 11.8 sacks per season.
Garrett’s athleticism was also on display at the 2017 NFL Combine ahead of when the Browns made him the No. 1 overall pick in the draft.
At the 2017 NFL Combine, Garrett recorded a 41-inch vertical jump, had a 10-foot-8-inch broad jump and benched 225 pounds 33 times.
In March 2017 at Texas A&M’s pro day, Garrett ran the 40-yard dash in 4.57 seconds.
Garrett was a letterman in football, basketball and track at Martin High School in Arlington, Texas.
He also comes from an athletic family.
Garrett’s older brother Sean Williams is a professional basketball player who has most recently played overseas.
Williams had stints in the NBA with the New Jersey Nets, the Dallas Mavericks and the Boston Celtics.
Garrett’s older sister Brea Garrett was an NCAA champion thrower for the Texas A&M track and field team.
