QB Garrett Gilbert

Last year, Gilbert served as the team’s primary backup quarterback.

The close friend of Mayfield will now serve on the practice squad.

The move was likely after the team signed Case Keenum in the offseason.

RB Dontrell Hilliard

Hilliard was the fourth running back on the depth chart at one point.

Now, with Kareem Hunt able to play a full season, Hilliard was optioned.

RB Benny LeMay

LeMay joined the Browns after going undrafted out of Charlotte.

He is the 2020 East-West Shrine Bowl Offensive Rookie and Charlotte’s all-time leading rusher.

FB Johnny Stanton

Stanton was released from the Vikings practice squad in December.

His familiarity with Kevin Stefanski was his key to joining the team.

As of now, there was not a spot on the 53-man roster for him.

WR Taywan Taylor

Taylor is a former third-round pick of the 2017 NFL Draft.

The Titans released Taylor last year, which is how he landed with the Browns.

Thread on #Titans Taywan Taylor:

Taywan Taylor has great straight-line speed and deep threat ability to stretch the field, but must work on his catching mechanics and his tracking ability to become a more complete and reliable receiver. pic.twitter.com/tEjcu1pN8F

WR Ja’Marcus Bradley

Bradley was an undrafted free agent out of Lousiana.

He was a Second-Team All-Sun Belt selection in 2019.

OL Brady Aiello

The 6-foot-6, 305-pound lineman was undrafted out of Oregon.

He has experience playing at tackle and guard.

OG Michael Dunn

Dunn comes out of Maryland where he was a three-time All-Academic Big 10 selection.

Dunn started 10 games at left tackle and helped lead a rushing attack that rushed over 2,500 yards, the most in the program since 2003.

LB Montrel Meander

Meander comes from the XFL’s Dallas Renegades after stints with the Raiders, Jets, and Browns.

This is the third stint with the Browns for Meander.

CB A.J. Green

Green went undrafted despite being a semi-finalist for the Jim Thorpe Award, which is given to the nation’s top defensive back.

CB AJ Green (Oklahoma State, 6’ 1”, 190 lbs). Another good AJ Green but this time at CB. Stats: (40 games) 118 Solo Tackles, 29 Asst Tackles, 147 Combined Tackles, 5.5 TFL, 6 INT, 1 TD, 21 PD & 2 FF. #AJGreen #4EDraft2020 pic.twitter.com/te1C59DmQ8

CB Robert Jackson

After going undrafted in 2018, Jackson has spent time with the Colts and Texans.

He has three total career tackles.

S Javonte Moffatt

After going undrafted from Middle Tennessee State, the Browns picked up Moffatt, who appeared in 55 games (program record).

His 315 tackles are fifth in school history.

S Elijah Benton

Benton comes out of Liberty as an undrafted free agent.

In 2019, Benton totaled 205 tackles in 44 career games (26 starts), adding nine passes defended, one sack, two interceptions, and one forced fumble.

K Cody Parkey

Parkey has not seen much of the field since missing a field goal in the playoffs for the Chicago Bears.

Last year, Parkey spent some time for the Tennessee Titans but was released.

Parkey just adds extra insurance.
