Football fans around the world have recognized Nick Chubb’s dominance this season.

The NFL’s leading rusher received 316,008 fan votes for the 2020 Pro Bowl.

It’s the most among AFC running backs.

Chubb is the only Cleveland Browns player leading at any position.

The second-year running back has 79 more rushing yards than Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry and 101 more rushing yards than Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey.

The Browns still have two games left, hosting the Baltimore Ravens on Dec. 22 and playing on the road against the Cincinnati Bengals on Dec. 29.

Chubb, 23, has seven 100-yard rushing games and is the only player in the NFL with at least 75 scrimmage yards in all 14 games this season.

The Browns have a 4-3 record this season in games where Chubb surpasses 100 yards rushing.

Chubb’s 1,408 rushing yards this season ranks tied for fifth in Browns history.

Only Hall of Fame running back Jim Brown had higher totals for the Browns.

However, Brown’s teams played at most 14 games in a single season.

The NFL moved to a 16-game regular season in 1978.

Chubb and Brown are the only two players in Browns history to rush for more than 1,400 yards in a season.

In 2019, Chubb is averaging 5.2 yards per carry and has eight rushing touchdowns.

The fan vote accounts for one-third of the determining factors for making the Pro Bowl, which is scheduled for Jan. 26, 2020, in Orlando, Florida.

Fan voting closed Dec. 12.

Coaches and players account for the other portion to determine which players make it.

A total of 88 players — 44 from the AFC and 44 from NFC — are selected for the game.

Each year, several of the spots are filled by alternates.

Leroy Hoard was the last Browns running back to make the Pro Bowl for his performance during the 1994 season.

Last season, defensive end Myles Garrett and cornerback Denzel Ward made the Pro Bowl with wide receiver Jarvis Landry and guard Joel Bitonio joining them as alternates.

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson received the most fan votes with 704,599.

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson had 539,768 votes, which was the most of any NFC player.

The other leading vote-getters included Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes with 468, 838 votes, Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook with 431,748 votes and McCaffrey with 406,477 votes.

Four of the top five vote-getters are younger than the age of 25.

San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa received the most fan votes of any defensive player with 358,911.

The NFL will announce the Pro Bowl rosters at 8 p.m. ET Tuesday during a live NFL Network special.

The fans have spoken.
