Senat, 26, could provide the Browns offensive line depth after free-agent offensive tackle Kendall Lamm signed a two-year contract with the Tennessee Titans.
Plus, it’s unclear how soon Browns swing tackle Chris Hubbard could return to the field after he dislocated his knee last season.
Senat could compete with Alex Taylor for one of the Browns’ offensive tackle spots.
Also, the Browns waived reserve offensive lineman Drake Dorbeck on Wednesday.
In September 2020, the Browns signed Senat to their practice squad.
A month later, the Dallas Cowboys signed Senat off the Browns’ practice squad.
Senat played in 10 games for the Cowboys in 2020, appearing mostly on special teams.
Last season, Senat played 53 special teams snaps for the Cowboys and three offensive snaps.
