It feels like Colin Cowherd has made a living talking about Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield in recent years.
To say that he is not a fan of Mayfield is an understatement so for Mayfield’s NFL career, Cowherd has been regularly weighing in with his opinion which is rarely good about Mayfield.
On Tuesday, Cowherd took a different turn.
He decided that he is tired of talking about Mayfield.
Cowherd left it up to the viewers to decide if he should continue talking about him on his show.
How It Came About
Apparently, Cowherd began having these thoughts while watching the Browns vs. Ravens game on Sunday night.
It did not stop him from talking about Mayfield on his Monday show.
The Browns have made their decision on Baker Mayfield, according to @ColinCowherd:
"There's too much turmoil. There's too much ego, snark and agitation." pic.twitter.com/3bSvJyxkgw

Anyway, on Tuesday morning, he posted a video saying:
“Baker is easily the second most fascinating quarterback in this game [Browns vs. Ravens]. I feel like he is 28-28. I was right about the argument. I’m no longer captivated by Baker Mayfield topics…So I am going to let you decide if I talk about him ever again because I don’t find him that fascinating. There’s just 10 other quarterbacks I would rather talk about.”
Cowherd conducted a viewer poll which ultimately decided whether he would ever talk about Mayfield again.
He offered the disclaimer that even if Mayfield goes on a five-game winning streak, gets to the playoffs or Super Bowl, he will not talk about him again.
Cowherd warned viewers they cannot have it both ways.

What Viewers Decided
With 11,833 votes received, the viewers decided that Cowherd should never talk about Mayfield again.
59.7% voted that Cowherd should stop talking about him, and 40.3% voted that he should continue talking about him.
That’s A Wrap
This could be the best news that Baker Mayfield has received in weeks.
He will never again be a topic for Cowherd.
Now that he is off of Cowherd’s radar, he can proceed to come off the bye on fire and lead the Browns to the playoffs.
Wouldn’t that be great?
